DG Ingrid Waugh officially visited our club, accompanied by AG Gabby Gimblett-Martin and Foundation Chair Willard Martin.
The evening was also accompanied by Taiwan youths visiting on a 'Bridging Program' and new member induction.
Thank you to Ingrid for her presentation that evening to share her thoughts on 'BE THE INSPIRATION'. Ingrid was able to meet with all our club officers to share tips and resources. We hope that this year will bring about more events and projects to meet our goals.
Aside from Ingrid's presentation, we were honoured to also accompany the 'OCAC 2018 Taiwan Youth and Overseas Expatriate Bridging Program' that evening as well. The program is a way to broaden the horizon of Taiwan's youth. Six students from the program were present and introduced themselves and share their views on New Zealand.
August is 'Membership and New Club Development Month' and we are happy to have inducted Evelyn Chen into the club by DG Ingrid. Evelyn's family and friends were also there to celebrate with her.
Lastly a big Happy Birthday to our August attendants, CP Kitty and PE Walter.
